Interview with Professor Alex Knodell

Alex Knodell is a Professor of archaeology at Carleton College in Minnesota. Professor Knodell studied at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and later got his PhD from Brown University. Professor Knodell focus is on Greek archaeology and, more broadly, he is interested in archaeological approaches to landscape, interaction, and long-term social change. Professor Knodell is also a co-director of the Small Cycladic Island Project, which is an archaeological project based in the Cyclades. In his interview, Professor Knodell discusses his archaeological fieldwork in Greece and his current focus in the Cyclades with the Small Cycladic Island Project. He also answers questions about what he does to ensure cultural preservation during his fieldwork. Watch the video below!
