Interview with Professor Ioannis Mylonopoulos

In this video, Professor Mylonopoulos discusses the importance of preserving both tangible and intangible culture, as well as his significant archaeological fieldwork. Professor Mylonopoulos received his Ph.D. from Ruprecht-Karls Universität Heidelberg, and is now a professor at Columbia University. Professor Mylonopulos's book, Πελοπόννησος οἰκητήριον Ποσειδῶνος. Heiligtümer und Kulte des Poseidon auf der Peloponnes, Kernos supplement 13, Liége 2003, pioneered a more complex understanding of Poseidon and his legacy. Watch the video below!
